Culinary Classes at DeGrande’s are specifically designed for persons who want to learn the basics of cooking, or for experienced cooks who wants to expand on what they know.

We begin with a discussion about what the student would like to get from the session so we can tailor the class to help you create, improve, or expand your expertise in the kitchen.

Then we roll up our sleeves and get busy. Most classes are hands-on for the students as we make a couple of items before we break for lunch here at the cafe. We follow lunch with another session in the kitchen, and finish with a short "Did you get what you wanted from the class?" discussion. Students also take home what they created during the day.

The class sessions run about four hours, depending on complexity of the recipes.
